SportyTV 2025/2026 Fixture, Get Rights to Air European matches from 2024 to 2029

SportyTV will show 26 matches live from the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in sub-Saharan Africa, including countries like South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. The matches will be free to watch on their TV channel and the sporty.com website. There will also be repeats of some matches and highlights of the games.

SportyTV also inked a deal with Kenya’s fastest-growing TV channel, TV 47, and they will also air the matches courtesy of SportyTV.

SportyTV will cover 19 group stage matches, three Round of 16 matches, two quarter-finals, one semi-final, and the final. Fans can look forward to matches featuring Mamelodi Sundowns, who will play against Borussia Dortmund, Fluminense, and Ulsan HD in the group stage.

Big teams like PSG, Atlético Madrid, Flamengo, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Al Hilal, Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami, and FC Porto will also have their games shown on SportyTV. The new free-to-air network in Kenya will start just one week before the tournament begins.

The broadcast deal for the Club World Cup was arranged by Iris Sport Media, which got the rights for sub-Saharan Africa from DAZN. Local support comes from Marketing & Media Solutions (MMS) and PC Plus Group.

Fans can also watch the FIFA Club World Cup live in Africa using the StarTimes app or on TV with a StarTimes DTT decoder.

Cape Media, courtesy of SportyTV, has also obtained rights to show La Liga matches for free in several sub-Saharan countries from 2024 to 2029. They will show one LaLiga match each round only in Nigeria and Ghana. Fans in these countries can also stream La Liga games on phones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs using the StarTimes ON app, which can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.

Besides this, SportyTV can show free matches in other African countries, including Angola, Botswana, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, St. Helena and Ascension, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

SportyTV also gives La Liga fans in Africa extra content, like weekly programmes about game analysis on social media and match highlights on their 24/7 football channel.

In Ghana, Nigeria, and other English and Portuguese-speaking countries in sub-Saharan Africa, SportyTV shows Italian Serie A matches live.

With their deal for Serie A, SportyTV will show one match each week for free on TV in Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Botswana, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Sierra Leone, South Africa, St. Helena and Ascension, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

SportyTV will also provide highlights from each Serie A match week and videos on social media. Viewers with a StarTimes decoder can watch all Serie A matches on TV or stream them through the StarTimes App.
