World War 3? China orders its citizens to immediately leave Iran and Israel

The Chinese government has issued an urgent advisory ordering its citizens in Iran and Israel to leave both countries immediately, citing a rapidly deteriorating security situation due to escalating military tensions.

The directive, released Tuesday by the Chinese embassies in Tel Aviv and Tehran via WeChat, follows a series of intense missile and drone strikes between Israel and Iran, raising fears of a broader regional conflict.

The Chinese embassy in Israel urged nationals to exit “as soon as possible” through land border crossings, particularly toward Jordan, noting that Israeli airspace remains closed amid ongoing hostilities.

“The Israeli-Iranian conflict continues to escalate, with civilian facilities damaged and civilian casualties increasing, making the security situation even more severe,” the embassy stated.

Similarly, the embassy in Iran advised citizens to avoid crowded or sensitive areas, enhance security precautions, and closely monitor developments due to the “complex and severe” environment.

The advisories come as Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran’s nuclear facilities and military targets last week, prompting retaliatory strikes from Tehran.

According to reports, the conflict has caused significant civilian casualties and infrastructure damage, with Iran’s Health Ministry reporting at least 128 deaths since Friday.

China, a key economic partner to Iran and a major importer of its oil, has condemned Israel’s actions as a violation of Iran’s sovereignty and called for de-escalation through dialogue.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian reiterated Beijing’s stance, urging all parties to avoid actions that could further destabilize the region.

The evacuation orders have heightened global concerns about the potential for a full-scale war, with other nations, including Russia, also urging their citizens to leave Israel.
