Azziad Nasenya’s Kileleshwa Apartment Faces Auction Over Debt

Media personality and TikTok star Azziad Nasenya is making headlines for troubling reasons, as her luxurious Kileleshwa apartment is set to be auctioned over an alleged failure to repay a KSh 25 million mortgage. Azziad Nasenya’s apartment in Kileleshwa is to be auctioned for allegedly failing to repay a 25M mortgage.

The news has sparked widespread discussion, casting a shadow over the influencer’s carefully curated image of success and glamour. According to a gazette notice, the four-bedroom apartment at Platinum Oak Residency along Oloitoktok Road, Lavington, will be auctioned on October 8, 2025, by Okuku Agencies Auctioneers.

The property, valued between KSh 24.5 million and KSh 29.5 million, was reportedly put up for sale after Nasenya defaulted on the substantial mortgage. This development has fuelled speculation about the financial stability of the 25-year-old content creator, who rose to fame through viral TikTok dance videos.

Nasenya has faced mounting scrutiny over her finances in recent months. Multiple individuals, including fellow TikToker Mary Musyoka, have accused her of borrowing significant sums and failing to repay them.

Musyoka claimed Nasenya owed her KSh 300,000, a debt allegedly settled only after public outcry. Blogger Edgar Obare also shared allegations of unpaid loans, including a KSh 2.5 million debt partially cleared with influencer Madollar Mapesa, though disputes over outstanding interest persist.

The media personality has repeatedly denied claims of faking her lavish lifestyle or relying on loans to sustain it. In a March 2025 radio segment on SoundCity’s Habari Shuffle, Nasenya addressed the allegations, stating she was handling matters privately with those involved.

“I stand in my truth and my growth,” she said, dismissing rumours that she borrowed to fund her lifestyle. However, the looming auction suggests deeper financial challenges. Social media reactions have been mixed.

Some fans express sympathy, urging Nasenya to stay strong, while others criticise her for projecting an unsustainable image of wealth. One fan remarked, “Living like a millionaire without a solid plan is a recipe for disaster.”

The controversy has reignited debates about the pressures of maintaining a glamorous persona in the influencer industry. As the auction date approaches, Nasenya has remained silent on the matter. Her next steps remain uncertain, but the saga shows the fragility of public personas in the face of financial realities.
