Due to a technical issue with Cloudflare, certain parts of the web platform globally seem to have stopped functioning. Thousands of websites have gone down due to internal Cloudflare deterioration.
An error notice stating that Cloudflare issues prevented the page from displaying appeared for users of websites including X, previously known as Twitter, the movie review website Letterboxd, and the hosting platform Truehost.
Many of the essential technologies that drive today’s online experiences are available via the internet infrastructure known as Cloudflare. This includes, for example, systems that defend websites against cyberattacks and guarantee that they remain operational even in the face of high traffic.
According to a recent update from the firm, “Cloudflare is aware of and investigating an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers.” “As more information becomes available, more details will be provided.”
The technical issues themselves also affected the outage tracking website Down Detector. However, there was a sharp increase in issues when it loaded.
A notification stating that there was an “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network” was shown to affected users. Users were urged to “try again in a few minutes.”
At first, Cloudflare had just acknowledged that it was aware of issues. It has now provided some further details, although it still seems to be unsure of the problem’s origin or potential solution.
According to the new statement, “Cloudflare is aware of and investigating an issue which impacts multiple customers: widespread 500 errors, and the Cloudflare Dashboard and API are also failing.” We are trying to comprehend the entire extent of this issue and find solutions. There will be more updates soon.

Cloudflare says, “We are seeing services recover, but customers may continue to observe higher-than-normal error rates as we continue remediation efforts.
“During our attempts to remediate, we have disabled WARP access in London. Users in London trying to access the Internet via WARP will see a failure to connect.
“Investigating – Cloudflare is experiencing an internal service degradation. Some services may be intermittently impacted. We are focused on restoring service. We will update as we are able to remediate. More updates to follow shortly.
