Mysterious Name Forgetting Horror Story

It began small, like a weird mix-up. Old friends I’d hung out with forever paused mid-sentence when saying hi. They’d click their tongues, chuckle, and admit my name slipped their mind. I brushed it off at first. Happens to everyone now and then.
