Domestic violence in Eldoret took a troubling turn this week when a husband came home early and attacked his wife and her visiting brother, convinced something improper was happening. Jane, who lives in Eldoret with her husband Peter, shared her account of the frightening incident. She never expected an ordinary Monday to spiral like that.
Jane explained that Peter had always been controlling. She tried to handle it quietly, mostly for their two young children. She believed she still loved him, or at least wanted the family to stay together. That afternoon she was finishing chores and getting lunch ready.
