The challenging economic conditions in Kenya have forced government employees to seek employment in other sectors to supplement their stagnant salaries and rising living expenses.

Netizens applauded the security personnel for going above and beyond to feed his family instead of collecting bribes.

The national police service is among the top organs in the country for collecting bribes due to its low salary and extensive work. Netizens commended the police officer for his side business, stating,

“Salary ya 24k haiwezi sustain msee hii kenya,” said Kafaki.

“Really, hawa wakona njaa kweli, who will save our police officers?” said Karen Kingahi.
