ODM leader Raila Odinga toured Sh. 7Billion Galana Kulalu irrigation shared by Tana River and Kilifi counties. Inspecting the progress of the project after the Israel firm left the project. Raila Odinga praised the Agricultural Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri for good work.

Raila Odinga was accompanied by Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and Tana River Governor Dhadho Godhana.

" Jubilee government has done tremendous work on food security projects. They have good networked Roads. I can see the Road from Baricho to Marafa tarmacked, Malindi-Salagate road tarmacked and Baricho bridge in construction plus some footbridges I have visited, " Raila Odinga said.

He visited the New Baricho bridge, Footbridges sites that are yet to be constructed in Magarini and other projects in Tana River.

He added that soon there will be a highway running from Lamu to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as part of Africa development plans. 

He also talked about the ongoing dam constructions.

" We are looking forward to having the designed dams completed. We are very serious in food production in Kenya. The Jubilee government and ODM will spearhead all economical activities that will benefit the common citizen, " he added.
