During a lecture at Menengai grounds in Nakuru, self-described prophet David Owuor of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness church sparked outrage by blaming the worldwide coronavirus outbreak on his own.
In his speech, Owuor audaciously said that the epidemic, which sadly took many lives throughout the globe, was an immediate consequence of his forecast.
He proceeded to caution Kenyans not to challenge his authority, claiming that he had the power to wreak havoc on Kenya at his will.
“Look at how countless individuals died at my words—I am the one who brought the coronavirus. Don’t try me, Kenya. I will fully eliminate you if I destroy you; heavens will smile for removing you. But I’m giving you grace for now,” Owuor said.
A large number of people, notably well-known politicians, attended the event in search of spiritual healing and comfort.
The Prophet has been teaching constantly about end times and the need for people to repent and receive the upcoming Messiah as described in the holy books.
