A 19 years old NENO Follower Charged With 9 year old Child Kidnapping In Nairobi

A NENO follower charged with child kidnapping in Nairobi.  The Magistrate allowed a bond of Sh. 500,000 or 2 years imprisonment. Speaking during the trial, Dorcas Cheruto denied the charges but was found guilty as witnesses had enough evidence.

The 19-year old woman was on Friday in court for allegedly kidnapping a 9-year old girl in a church in Nairobi.

The suspect, Dorcas Cheruto Wangila, who appeared before Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot, is alleged to have abducted the minor from her mother Susan Wambui Nderu during a church service at the Neno Evangelism Center on August 15.

She will spend the weekend behind bars until the bond is paid.
