Alistair Cavenagh battles with Christopher Gordon Horsey and David Horsey over Vipingo Ridge shares

Former rally driver Alistair Cavenagh initiates legal action over a dispute regarding shareholding in a company managing the prestigious Vipingo Ridge resort in Kilifi County.

Cavenagh obtained a court injunction preventing shareholders Christopher Gordon Horsey and David Horsey from dealing with shares held by First European Finance Investments Limited (FEFI), based in Mauritius.

FEFI (acting as a special purpose vehicle) owns stakes in Vipingo Ridge Ltd., Vipingo Beach Ltd., and Sunsail Trading Company Ltd., all of which were previously owned by ex-executive director David Mitchell.

The judge has ordered the Horseys and FEFI to refrain from any transactions involving these shares until the case’s hearing on July 18, 2024, pending further court instructions.
