Jomo Gecaga, the nephew of Uhuru Kenyatta, is in difficulties when Ann Kiguta, the mother of his kid, demands Ksh 413 million in child support.
Jomo, according to Ann, has not kept his commitments. He had twins, transferred Ann to Runda, and paid Ksh 555,555 in rent each month.
However, in 2020, he ceased doing so, forcing Ann to move to Kitongoji Duni. Jomo left for Britain, turned off his phone, and just recently made a comeback.
The former Citizen TV newsreader wants Sh2.7 million in upkeep every month until the children are 18 years old.
Alternately, she requests an order requiring Gecaga to deposit Sh 413 million as maintenance charges to cover the children’s regular and irregular expenses until they reach the age of 18.
Kiguta informed the court that Gecaga married her in 2015.
In 2016, they received the blessing of twins. In 2018, he neglected his obligations and family.
The children have been depending on their grandfather ever since.
They are presently being homeschooled as they have not had a formal education since 2020.
She contends that when they were residing in Runda, Gecaga exposed them to a high quality of life.
As Uhuru’s personal assistant, Jomo landed contracts and amassed millions of dollars in his bank accounts.
