Fred Omondi’s body is currently at Mama Lucy Hospital.

Before splitting up, Fred Omondi was on the Churchill show with his brother Eric Omondi. According to the last interview, Fred Omondi had indulged himself in drugs and women.

Even though he maintained his composure and dismissed reports that his acting career was in trouble, it is clear that Fred Omondi’s profession took a turn for the worse after he left TV and abandoned the popular comedy brands that had previously contributed to his success.

After that, the controversy surrounding his girlfriend’s allegations of battering sent him into a downward spiral, making headlines in showbiz. Then, a mischievous hater began spreading rumours that Fred was HIV positive, a rumour the comedian challenged.

For the best part of last year, the comedian, who is the little brother to Erick Omondi, was clearly a stressed man.

Close friends informed Bana News that he allegedly squandered his meagre funds on alcohol and drinking parties, leading to his purported financial collapse.

He downgraded from living in his posh and spacious house in the leafy suburbs of Kileleshwa and rented a small house in South B, where he started putting up with a friend.

Was he running out of ideas, or did ignorance play a role in this fall? Because he is a ladiesman, women who used to spend nights in his house were responsible for a significant portion of Fred’s income.

“I believe it is by chance that you are here. At least now I can clear the air,” Fred enthuses.

“Let me start by saying that the three-bedroom house in Kileleshwa is still mine. A friend gave me a fantastic deal, and I bought it for around Sh7 million. I decided to rent it out and live in the City View apartments next to Mater Hospital.”
