Charo Chicken have increased outlets across the state of California from Costa, Huntington Beach, Long Beach and Seal Beach to Torrance.
The founder and owner of Charo Chicken Franchise Moe Bonakdar say he wanted to sell his business after battling losses due to the pandemic.
He founded Charo Chicken after visiting Kenya. He went to Hells Kitchen at Magarini in 1982. The franchise was named after Kenyan tour guider who also nicknamed his firstborn as Moe.
Moe Bonakdar says he wants to venture into other states in the US before kickstarting his business in Africa.
” My mission is to invest and make Charo chicken a multinational venture. In Africa, the countries that can venture my business are South Africa, Namibia and Kenya, ” he said.
