Chinese arrested for Making and Selling Chang’aa and Busaa in Machakos

Chinese nationals have dominated almost all businesses in Kenya. Recently, DCI raided a house in Machakos and found out that Chinese have been selling Chang’aa and Busaa for the past year.

Two Chinese Nationals found with 800L of Methanol and over 3000L of chang’aa and Busaa at their residence in Green Park-Machakos were today arrested in an operation by Machakos Detectives triggered by a tip-off from the Public. 

A Liquor Processing Plant was also found in their homestead that can distil and process up 1000 litres of Spirits per day

In a quick search conducted by the DCI within the residence of the two suspects, Wang Yalan’s search of Haijian also led to the recovery of several sacks of sorghum and rice, drums of sorghum mixtures kept to ferment, and several huge water tanks. The duo is in custody, and recoveries secured as exhibits.

Police have encouraged the residents to share any suspicious information about anything to make the public safe.
