The National Police Service sadly confirms the unfortunate demise of Police Constable Hudson Wakise and his wife PC Pauline Wakasa following what appears to have been a domestic quarrel in the wee hours of the evening yesterday.
PC Wakise was attached to VIP protection at the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government while his wife was a traffic officer stationed at Kilimani Police Station.
PC Wakise who had been off duty since Thursday 1st April, reported back to work yesterday but left at 3 pm and left to his residence near the GSU camp. It is testified that he shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself, ending both their lives.
Eyewitnesses and neighbours are aiding the police with investigations into the incident which took place outside the GSU camp at approximately 5 pm.
