David Murathe and Cyrus Jirongo, a politician from the Jubilee Party, were both called. The two were summoned to the integrity centre, where they will immediately appear before the anti-graft commission.

Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe, Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli and Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo have been summoned by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission over an inquiry into Sh200 million land saga in Nairobi.

Murathe, who has served as the Jubilee Party’s vice chairman for some time, has had to deal with a number of issues, including a previous summons from the same agency back in 2020.

During the well-known KEMSA scandal, the EACC questioned Murathe for more than four hours.

The EACC got in touch with Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe on this day to question him about the missing Kemsa Fund while Uhuru was in charge. President Uhuru gave them 21 days, but until now nothing has come out of the agency.
