Colleagues and relatives accompanied Mama Ida Odinga as she marked her 70th birthday on Saturday.
Mama Ida was born on August 24, 1950.
Wise, skilled and selfless were words used to describe Mama Ida, who is ODM leader Raila Odinga’s wife.
It was full of activities with numerous visitors, most of them did not wear face-masks notwithstanding state directives of keeping social-distance.
The occasion was held at the Odinga Karen home.
Some of the visitors’ involved Jubilee Party vice-chairman David Murathe, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, EALA member Oburu Oginga, Wajir MP Fatuma Gedi and NGEC commissioner Priscilla Nyokabi and Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga.
