Kilifi county administration is on the spot over Kilifi South sub-county offices at Shariani. The Multi-Million building is said to be abandoned since 2015.
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission(EACC) now have launched investigations involving more than Sh. 50 Million said to be embezzled through shady tender over the Kilifi south sub-county office construction.
According to the EACC lower coast regional manager, Mutembei Nyaga and DPP Vincent Monda, there are more than 15 cases involving corruption being investigated in Kilifi.
EACC regional manager Mr Nyaga says the commission have enough evidence over the sub-county building involving the former county secretary Owen Baya.

They are also pursuing crucial information from the contractor who was given the tender. However, the EACC did not disclose the companies involved saying it is still under investigation.
The move comes after the anti-corruption commission arrested CS Mr Arnold Mkare, Chief Officer for Health Services Bilal Mazoya, and Chief Officer for Medical Alio Ibrahim for failing to give information on the Kilifi Health Complex.
The first phase of the complex is worth Sh493million, while the second phase was estimated to be Sh398million.
The Kilifi south sub-county administrators office in shariani since 2015 there is no electricity and running with no incomplete construction structures while the money allocated depleted.
The installed air-condition structures have no machines while other essentials are not available including office furniture.
