George Wajackoya, the presidential hopeful of the Roots Party, has disclosed that he has received advances from the state’s major political parties.

William Ruto and Raila Odinga, according to Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoya, attempted to entice him into their separate camps.
Wajackoya said both Deputy President William Ruto and ODM’s Raila Odinga had sent messengers to him with the sole purpose of luring him into their chosen party camps during an appearance on Spice FM on Tuesday.
Ruto is the leader of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, while Raila is the leader of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, on whose platform he is running for the sixth time for the presidency.
The Roots Party’s leader, on the other hand, said he’s been fending off the duo’s attempts, maintaining that he’ll be on the presidential ballot on August 9.
“We are a revolution that will not be defeated. The major parties have attempted to pay me, but let me state unequivocally that I will be participating. Shame on those who are sending agents to me, particularly those MPs.
” MPs from Kenya Kwanza and elders from Azimio should be ashamed. Raila and Ruto should not send me people; instead, they should call me. They should not send me idiots “he added.
