The UasinGishu Governor Jackson Mandago faulted his party leader for supporting independent candidates. The Governor said the President need to rethink on his statement before he takes them to the public.

“If the president said, independents candidates will be supported by Jubilee because they will sing his song then that not true. I had the president also saying vote for anybody at the county level then votes for me as the President because I’m the president of all people.” Mandago said.

” If that is the case then we will do a campaign here to vote for us as Jubilee governors and then live to the people to choose whom to vote for the President. Just directly opposed to whatever he said and we will see what will happen” He added.

The statement was seconded by the Nandi hills Mp Alfred Keter and Mp Oscar Sudi. The independent candidate got another blow as the president visit some parts of Rift Valley to hunt votes.
