She said it was the wrong time for the government to engage the Kariobangi residents on the land matters.

“I would say, that wasn’t right to make Kariobangi poor residents sleep in cold, hungry and rained on. The courts had already stopped the demolition, but they still went ahead and did it Fight of Mighty and powerless,” she said.

“Based on the state statement relating to the times we are in, it’s a corona time, no one can get in and out of Nairobi. The Evicted cannot even go to rural homes,”

“At least the government should have waited until Covid-19 Pandemic goes and gets forgotten then know how to deal with them, but now, they are homeless, where they had jobs, no more jobs and curfew time is also there, simply, it wasn’t a right move, she added.

” The government lacks good advisers. Where are our leaders we voted for? Independence is coming when you will go to the ballot and choose patriotic leaders only,” she urged the voters on 2022 general elections.
