As the State tries to reclaim its grabbed land, thousands of people are spending sleepless night at the cold after their houses were demolished.
The state says Kariobangi was part of the government land that was meant for relocating dumpsite and sewarage control.

However, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo jnr says it was all wrong to evict people during the highly infectious disease pandemic and rainy season.
“By demolishing houses in Kariobangi in the middle of a pandemic, Government of Kenya is behaving as if it was elected by Cows and Goats,”
“When finally a judgement is written about Uhurus government I’m telling you only the book of revelation is going to tell you there will be gnashing of teeth, there will be a bottomless pit for the members of Uhurus government,” says Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior.
