A fracas today happened in the D.O office at Majengo, Mtwapa following claims that Mustapha Idd had plans to rig the polls. According to Sheddy Lewa, the Mustapha team gave the voters handouts from Morning to evening and the votes were not tallied in their respective centres claiming that the Movement of votes created inconveniences and irregularities.
“The votes at FTC were not counted at the polling station, same with Mtwapa primary and many more polling stations here in Mtwapa. At Mtepeni a lot of people were denied chances of voting same thing as of Mtomondoni. We demand to know what was the main motive of Mustapha Idd because it allegedly gives handouts to the returning officer at KARI” Said Lewa.
The majority of the Kilifi south MPs slammed the DOs offices where some ballot boxes were found with extra votes in a saloon car. The Majengo residents surrounded the car yesterday demanded to know what was the destination of the Balot boxes.
