Kiambu County Assembly members want to take part in the Ksh.588 million graft case against their boss Governor Ferdinand Waititu.

A Nairobi court through trial Magistrate Lawrence Mugambi on Monday heard that the nine MCAs have notified a lawyer to have them enjoined in the Waititu graft case.
The defense regardless of the application by the said MCAs objected the move saying they have no locus stand.

“Let them make a substantive application… let’s not turn this into a political cause,” argued the defense.

” let them file a normal application stating why they want to be included. They should also understand the consequenceofon being in a court case. If they have any evidence let it be filed too, ” said the Magistrate.
