Angry constituents have confronted and chased Kibwezi Member of Parliament Mwengi Muthusi, who voted in support of the controversial Finance Bill 2024, away from public events.

The lawmaker attended a funeral in his constituency, where drama unfolded as uirate residents turned their wrath on him.

A video captured the drama and went viral on social media, with netizens resolute in their efforts to deplatform any MP or political figure who failed to stand with Kenyans protesting the Finance Bill 2024.

The video shows the MP seated on the front row engaging in an altercation with a man seated a few metres away.

As a man holding the MP leads him away, many others join in what appears to be a scuffle, and the crowd quickly grows.

The people of Kangundo have not been left out. They have visited the home of the area MP, Fabian Kyule, who voted yes in support of the finance bill for 2024.

After voting yes, Kimilili residents went to their MP, Didmus Barasa. The MP had to run away with his family and to save his life.

Youths paying a courtesy visit to Sylvanus Osoro’s rural home discovered 58 copies of signed TSC appointment letters.
