Ferried Attendees in the Meru BBI really want SH 500 to be doubled saying it’s not enough due to economic inflation.
Legislatures from Mt.Kenya impressed the executive after ferrying people from Nairobi, Kitui, and Mwingi to fill Kinoru stadium.
Attendees lamented on insufficient support from their respective legislatures.
Kinoru Building Bridges Initiative really brings together leaders from Mt Kenya.
ODM leader Raila Odinga graced the occasion. Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen applauded by supporters after touching on the leaders’ mandate.
” Thank you for the people of Mt.Kenya Region. We must be honest with each other. As Leaders, we were elected to deliver services not to write another book of lamentations about the failure to deliver services. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” he .
” We as leaders have been given money to help our people. But there some leaders here who say BBI will bring peace, jobs and reducing the pain of a common Mwananchi. That is command-ship, ” Murkomen said.
