No social gathering in Airbnb Inc platform participants

Residential and online home rental company Airbnb Inc on Thursday commanded an instant global prohibition on all gatherings and events at places listed on its platform. 

The move was to enable participants to reinforce social-distancing measures due to the virus pandemic.

“Launching a world-wide ban on parties and events is in the best interest of public health,” Airbnb said in a statement, continuing that the party ban employs to all planned and upcoming bookings.
