The Public Service Commission (PSC) published a list of 224 individuals to go on to the next round of the hiring process for the job of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS). The move comes after the court cleared PSC to continue with the hiring.
Many people applied for the job, but only notable figures were seen on the list of shortlings.
From more than 600 applicants, the list was narrowed down to just a few, and the people who made the cut will be interviewed starting on March 1, 2023.
Individuals who are invited to an interview must provide the original copies of their credentials, as well as certificates of clearance from the taxman (KRA), the HELB, a registered credit reference bureau, a police clearance certificate, and a subconscious form certified by the EACC.
Also, the general public has been asked to share any accurate information they may have about the applicants who were chosen.
Dennis Itumbi, Linda Ogutu, Ali Mbogo, Millicent Omanga, Evans Kidero, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, Cleophas Malala, Isaac Mwaura among notable names in the list.
