ODM Chief Campaigner “Kingi Mwiru” buried today at Mjanaheri, attended by Amason Kingi and Hassan Joho.

The county of Kilifi is mourning the death of the ODM top official who spearheaded the campaigns of the County boss Amason Kingi in the August Polls. The Kilifi ODM chief campaigner Hon Anderson Kingi Ngombo, popularly known as “Kingi Mwiru” died yesterday in Kilifi where he was undergoing treatment.

The Mombasa governor Hassan Joho with his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi laid to rest the body of the chief campaigner Kingi Mwiru at Mjanaheri in Magarini sub-county.

“It is a sad moment for the county as we have lost an instrumental leader who never tired from addressing pertinent issues affecting the people of the county.” Governor Kingi Said.

“In this trying moments, we as the people of Kilifi county stand with the family, friends, and relatives of the late. May God strengthen and comfort us in this sad moments,” he added.

County legislatures also attended the burial at Magarini. He will be remembered for his fierce statements against leaders who wanted to oppress the residents in Kilifi.
