A married couple startled their guests by setting oneself on fire in an unusual marriage send-off.
Ambyr Bambyr and Gabe Jessop, a skilled daredevil couple, surprised their guests with a “Hunger Games”-style wedding celebration.
They went up in flames as they left the gathering, just like Suzanne Collins’ Katniss in the blockbuster film.
“Ambyr and Gabe met on stage, their wedding exit makes fireworks appear tedious,” Russ Powell remarked in a video filmed by one of their guests.
Instead of being bombarded with streamers or rose petals, the newlyweds put on a spectacular firework extravaganza.
Before heading into the field with raging flames on their backs, they put on fire-resistant robes and garments and applied anti-burn gel.
Ambyr gestures to their guests while holding her bouquet aloft like an Olympic torch.
They rush up to their buddies and bend down to allow them to use sprays to put out the fire.
“Our wedding send-off was executed by a team of specialists and should not be undertaken without suitable training and equipment,” Ambyr stated in her post.
People were enthralled by the concept and matched them to the protagonists in the Hollywood film Hunger Games.
“All right, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta,” one said, while another said, “That was amazing, that’s a hot coupling there.”
“They got baptized by fire extinguisher towards the end there,” a third added.
Some others were amazed their hair and skin didn’t burn, to which Russ remarked, “They both did.”
