Speaker Muturi declares Kibra seat vacant as Odinga aides and allies lineup

National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi declared the Kibra constituency sit vacantly.

Kibra MP seat is now vacant following a declaration by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi on Wednesday directing IEBC to proceed with conducting a by-election.

IEBC has up to45 days to announce the election date of the constituency.

Already there are a good number lined up for the seat which includes former Kasarani mp Elizabeth Angoro, Okoth’s younger brother Imran, ex-Raila Odinga aide Eliud Owalo, Ketta Onyango – former Kibra CDF chair; and Sarang’ombe MCA Pius K. Otieno among others.
