To beat alco-blow and other mechanisms implemented on the roads, alcohol users have invented a new way of boozing that beer through the backdoor.
The new methods make use of the rectum as the entrance to the large intestine rather than using the mouth to through and to the stomach.
Medical professionals have called on parents and other stake holders that teens get drunk through that dubious method.
The method has been nicknamed as ” butt chugging” or ” drinking through anus”.
The new trend in town to consume alcohol in order to beat smelling like booze is called butt chugging. It results in direct absorption. This is dangerous because it bypasses the body’s filtration mechanisms and its ability to reject it by vomiting.
Doctor Korir Rotich flagged the method as unsafe and can be fatal. He says,” Drinking alcohol through the Anus is dangerous.
” We call it Alcohol enema. Some people soak a tampon in alcohol and insert it to the rectum, or insert a funnel through the anus to the rectum, then pour alcohol inside.
” As this method bypasses the stomach, the consumer gets high very fast. It is dangerous as levels of intoxication cannot be easily controlled by the body. It can be fatal.”
