The University of Nairobi has been criticised for forcing online classes and exams while amidst the naval virus.

The University management, however, wants all students who will participate in online learning and exams to clear all school fees arrears.
The university management is now on the spot over how the students will raise school fees and bundles as parents and guardians fight to put food on the table during the pandemic.
The student association has written a letter to the UoN management concerning the decision saying it will definitely lock out others.
The Association adds that the timing is ill and people are concentrating on basic needs.
” How do you begin asking your parent for money when you spent the whole day with them at the farm? Where do you find bundle money when you can’t afford a meal a day? How do you attend class when you don’t have a decent phone?” Tough questions ask UoN management.
