Tom Warui Wanjohi a third-year student at the University of Nairobi died today after he was beaten by riot police in the campus.He was found in class reading by the Police and received a thorough beating that left him unconscious.
He succumbed to injuries that led his death.Police got to the institution punished everyone including lectures who found in the campus offices. Only one is known to have been died in the university.
The majority of the students claimed that the police killed more than two students and others raped but they have kept quiet. Some of the students are reported missing after the incidence.
The KUSO secretary general Fred Makajos met with former SONU leader and Embakasi Mp Babu Owino and discussed issues affecting pour education system in Kenya. The Embakasi MP said that he will be a champion in fighting student injustices and foster human rights.
