DCI stormed Maverick Aoko’s home with more than three Subaru vehicles in a blatant show of force. According to her close friend, they ransacked her home and unlawfully seized her electronics (phones, laptops).
They sent 100 masked DCIs to arrest Aoko, find her without clothes in bed, and harass her badly, according to her colleague. Allegations suggest that she is currently experiencing a miscarriage.
The DCI interrogated her on her tweets about Soipan and the First Family for hours, then put her in a cell for three days.
After Kenyans stood with her and demanded her release, they coined a different charge sheet.
Aoko’s lawyer stated, “In a shocking turn of events that defies all norms of justice, they took her away from Muthaiga police station, and her whereabouts were currently unknown for several hours before they presented her at Milimani law courts.”
According to her friend, Aoko’s counsel visited her. Aoko was unwell and in great pain. During her arrest, authorities prevented Aoko from carrying her medication.
The prosecutor has now shifted her charge to a different story linking Jamal and Amber Ray, involving Beth Wambui Mbuitu according to sources at Milimani law courts.
