Maverick Aoko, a popular controversial blogger, reveals the people behind the murder of Sharon Otieno, the former Migori Governor Ken Obado’s mistress.
“They raped her, then ripped her. Photo of Killed Sharon Obado you’ll never see. And she was HEAVILY pregnant with his kid.
“Waling’oa mtoto na kisu, labour without anaesthesia! Lit by a lot.
“Naftali, Hellen Obado’s brother, organised the goons. He was a police officer who got fired out of misconduct,” the blogger revealed.
“Her other brother Dickie was sergeant at arms, Migori assembly. If I’m lying, thunder strikes me dead.
“I’m not telling you heresay. Naftali once told me he’d rub Pili Pili on my v*** then drop me in the river Migori.
“Naftali is so dangerous; he used to drive within Migori in a white car with Machetes Kwa boot! Panga! Beti!
“Obado is currently Ruto’s chief mobiliser in Nyanza. I know his wife killed her, not him.
“But this was unnecessary. Ruto is covering him now because they’re in the gold business, Macalder, Nyatike,” the popular blogger revealed.
Before the investigation continued, linking Obado as the primary suspect to the murder.
The primary investigator in the case stated that Michael Oyamo, an assistant to the previous governor of Migori, Okoth Obado, was responsible for planning the circumstances that led to Sharon Otieno’s death. Sharon Otieno was a student at Rongo University.
Nicholas Ole Sena informed Cecilia Githua, the judge overseeing the trial, that he did not conduct cell phone triangulation for the individuals present with Sharon on the night of her death. This was due to the fact that they already had a suspect, Oyamo.
“Oyamo was the one who envisioned all of this,” he said. “Neither of the other two individuals involved in this incident had a phone,” he said.
Their investigations led them to the conclusion that Oyamo lured Sharon and a witness, who was under protection, to a waiting vehicle 300 metres from the Graca Hotel in Rongo on the fatal day. A brief encounter between the two individuals confirmed this.
When the detectives brought charges against the implicated individuals, they primarily relied on the journalist, who managed to exit the moving car and compile his report.
Oyamo, the taxi driver, and the journalist both provided proof supporting their claims.
Ole Sena further confirmed to the court that Oyamo had falsified medical records from Kisii Hospital to bolster his claim of kidnapping Sharon on the night of her murder.
On the evening of September 3, he lodged a complaint at the Uriri police station, asserting that he was the victim of a kidnapping.
According to the information he provided to the authorities, his attackers were armed with knives but did not use them, and he discovered himself on the streets of Kisii one morning after the attack.
Members of the general public carried him to the hospital.
A medical professional admitted, as part of his testimony in the case, that he had fabricated medical records for Oyamo in order to make him believe that he had been assaulted by unknown individuals on the night Sharon was killed.
However, even as the investigator was presenting his findings in court, Oyamo, via his attorney Meso Ogada, raised concerns about the discrepancies committed by two witnesses who were crucial to the prosecution.
The two individuals in question are the journalist and Jackson Gombe, a cab driver who is said to have transported Sharon to Kodera Forest, the location where she ultimately met her end.
One of the contradictions that Ogada brought to light was the fact that the journalist said that Oyamo boarded the car as they left the Graca Hotel, yet the taxi driver stated that Oyamo did not join the vehicle.
