Women rights activist Joyce Kiria has said that it is time for women to be educated because washing and cooking for a man is outdated, and she added that men have hands that enable them to do laundry and cooking.
Joyce Kiria said that women must wake up, get an education, and stand on their own. Marriage in the 21st and 22nd centuries is a scam, and men should up their game and do all chores for themselves.
In the current arrangement, everyone has access to the kitchen. You and I both cook. Men have hands to do the housework, just as women do.
“Women cooking is outdated. These days, we have male chefs who produce better food than some women. It’s time for women to become more educated and take on household chores.
“Men have hands that can do laundry, cook, clean the house, and do everything for themselves. The world is changing, and we should change with it,” the women activist stated.
Her words created a debate online with mixed reactions from every quarter.
“I find it surprising that our women are losing their identity by emulating the cultures of others, particularly those of white people.”
“I don’t understand why they were born on the African continent,” Alex Dzombo said.
“It’s not her fault because she can’t wash her underwear herself; how will she manage the husband’s clothes?” Riziki Salim wondered.
“And this is the main reason why even God refused a woman to be a leader… Isn’t this misleading society?” Tenny Juniour said on social media.
