A leaked video showing what happened to young Kenyan Forex trader Denno Bright in his final moments has gone viral.
The 25-year-old was supposedly with a group of friends in Mombasa.
They were partying, drinking shots; before it was said, he was intoxicated.
A leaked video shows Denno on the floor as two men struggle to lift him up and carry his body through the sitting room furniture.
Denno wore grey trousers, a blue sleeveless shirt, and no shoes.
Video evidence shows several friends carrying his body to a bedroom after they decided to put him to sleep.
The two friends struggle to carry his body as two others follow them to the bedroom.
A male friend urges the girl with the phone camera not to record the moment, but she continues to laugh. A male friend utters the phrase “klazima evidence” while another man concurs.
One of the friends says “lala hapo” as they enter the bedroom, but the rest of the audio is inaudible.
Separately, Tuesday night saw a candlelight vigil honoring his memory. Several speakers celebrated his life, including one friend who recalled how Denno came to his rescue when he was in financial need.
He described how Denno owned a car and founded a company in which he made investments. This friend became Dennos Principal Assistant.
“That fateful day, while I was dropping off a girl with the G Waggon, Denno called me and said, Mzunye, come pick me up.”
“We had an accident with the GLE there, and many of you here came to help us. We were about to be beaten by people on bikes.
“I drove the car from there to Nairobi and went to the social hall in Lavington; we ate, and he decided we go to Mombasa to buy us an automobile.”
Denno allegedly called another individual whom he had missed, urging them to join him. He insisted that Denno was alive when he last saw him. “Tulimpeleka kwa room,” Mzunye said as he left for another apartment where they had booked rooms.
“Nikajiekelea.” At about 3am, he took water to Denno, but he wasn’t responsive.
After performing CPR on Denno, they rushed him to a medical facility. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
