Statehouse plans other Bishops meeting over Catholic’s press

According to sources, the government is making an effort to counter the press statement that the Catholic bishops released. The Kenya Kwanza government is now scared by the decisions made by its predecessors regarding the church, which has a massive following.

When you consider the legacy of Nding’i Mwana a’nzeki, the former Nairobi Catholic Bishop, it becomes clear why President William Ruto and his government are fearful.

The Catholic Bishops, leading the Church, threw the entire government into a frenzy yesterday evening as various teams devised strategies to silence the Catholic voices.

The government ordered each department to produce a press statement that countered the Catholic bishops’ misinformation.

Now, the Statehouse is planning a crucial meeting with other bishops from other churches to counter the Catholic bishop’s recent press statement to the government.

The government, through the Ministries of Health, Education, and Inspector General of Police, has slammed the statement by the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops, terming it as erroneous and misleading to the public.

In statements made public, Cabinet Secretary for Health Deborah Mulongo, her counterpart in education Migos Ogamba, and IG Douglas Kanja accuse the bishops of ignoring significant advancements made by the government on issues pertaining to the Social Health Authority, the university education funding model, the CBC, and investigations into extrajudicial killings and abductions in the nation.
