On November 16, 2024, Bongo Movie actor Fredy Kiluswa passed away while receiving treatment at Muhimbili National Hospital in Mloganzila. The Award-winning actor 🏆🏆 2023/2024 died after undergoing backbone-related complications. He has been in and out of the hospital for over six months.
Fellow actress Blandina Changula ‘Johari’ confirmed the information in a press statement while speaking to the media.
“I can’t even say anything, but the death reports are true that he died today while being treated at the Mloganzila hospital,” said Johari, who was the producer of the drama ‘Lawama’ in which Fredy Gordon Kiluswa has played.
Following the news of the death of this actor, various artists have expressed their condolences through their social media pages.
“Eheeeee, my little brother, you are really gone; you are gone, my God. Oh, my God, Fred, rest in peace,” wrote Rose Ndauka through her Instagram page.
“Sleep safe, brother; we will see you later, brother; your power in the industry has been seen; you sleep with dignity; I finish by saying that the film industry in Tanzania is ours,” wrote Steve Nyerere.
“Daaah, this has been a heavy year; rest in peace, my little one,” wrote JB on his Instagram page.
During his life, Fredy played various dramas, including Lawama, Mizani Mapenzi, Slayqueen, and many others.
