More reports are emerging, suggesting that the lady who fell off the KICC buildings last evening was a suicide victim, following her posting on X.
The X app identifies her as Lucy, who is active on social media under the username @Seasonedbricks or Lily. She fell from the 14th floor, not the rooftop, as per yesterday’s reports.
Before she committed suicide, Lily posted on X with the words, “Today HAS to be a good day. Nishachoka na hii November yenu.”
The young lady who is in her late 20s acknowledged that life has been bearable, and it was only good for her to go to heaven to be with angels.
According to the government, there are significant challenges with people facing mental health, like the recent rise in femicide cases and suicides.
The Kenyan economy has been the root cause of the majority of the suicides in the country.
Government workers and police officers are not exempt from mental health-related issues.
