The recent arrest of a bishop in Nakuru has brought to light many serious issues about Prophet Owuor’s Repentance and Holiness Ministry.
Bishop Faustine Ojango, who used to be an important part of the ministry, has come forward with shocking claims. He was arrested after an interview where he said the ministry fakes miracles and pressures its members to give up their life savings.
According to some people who want to stay anonymous, the reasons behind his arrest are aimed at silencing him and keeping the church’s good image intact.
One former member of the ministry shared, “Hello. I appreciate you telling the truth about Prophet Owuor. I was with the Repentance and Holiness Ministry for over 5 years, from 2012 to 2018, and I can say that what Bishop Ojango said is true.
“I wasn’t shocked by his arrest. Anyone who challenges or leaves the ministry is targeted. The interview that got him arrested exposed the truth about fake miracles during their events.
“It’s all just a show to convince new and current members that Owuor holds special powers. He also spoke about how the church pressures members to give away their money.
“Members often sell their homes or take out loans to ‘honour the Prophet.’ The ministry has people in powerful positions who help manage things behind the scenes.
“His arrest and the serious charges against him show how far they will go to keep up their false image.”
