This route is intended to draw attention from key government bodies involved in labour and public administration.

KRA Internship 2025

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced internship opportunities for the January to December 2025 intake, aimed at fresh Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma graduates. Here are some key details about the program:

The internship program supports the Government’s Youth Initiative to develop a pool of young talent for the Kenyan labour market, providing graduates with practical skills in their areas of specialization.

Eligibility:

  • Must be Kenyan citizens aged between 20 and 35.
  • Should have graduated with a first degree or diploma from a recognized institution between January 2023 and December 2024.
  • Must be available full-time for the twelve-month duration.
  • Should not have undertaken any other internship or gained work experience in their area of specialization post-graduation.

Available opportunities: Internships are offered in various fields, including but not limited to finance, accounting, economics, statistics, data analytics, mathematics, supply chain management, human resource management, marketing & communication, law, engineering disciplines, ICT, and many others.

Stipend/Wages

  • Degree holders receive a monthly stipend of Ksh. 25,000.
  • Diploma holders receive Ksh. 18,000, both subject to statutory deductions.

Application Process

Applications must be submitted online through the KRA e-recruitment portal at https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login.

Registration is required, followed by updating your profile in the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ and then applying for the specific internship position.

Post-Selection Requirements

Selected candidates need to submit proof of a valid personal accident insurance cover, a certificate of good conduct, a KRA PIN certificate, SHA, NSSF, an ID card, and bank account details.
