In a very sad event, two women—a mother named Melvin Owuor and her friend—have been arrested because of the tragic death of a four-year-old boy.
The mother, Melvin Owuor, took the lifeless body of her child to Mama Lucy Hospital’s mortuary on December 9, 2024.
However, she did not come back after telling the police about the situation, as the morgue staff had suggested.
Things became suspicious when Melvin and her friend turned off their phones. This led the mortuary worker to report the situation to Mowlem police station.
Police detectives from Dandora and special units from Nairobi quickly began to investigate and found shocking details about the boy’s last moments.
Melvin had initially said that her child died in his sleep, but it was discovered that the boy died from injuries caused by his mother after an incident in which he had soiled himself.
Further questioning revealed that Melvin Owuor is actually the biological mother of the boy. This new information made the case even more heartbreaking.
The police are still working hard to gather all the details, and Melvin remains in custody as they investigate what really happened to the child.
The search for justice continues as everyone tries to understand the truth and hold the responsible people accountable.
