Aston Villa is making good progress to sign 18-year-old football player Sverre Nypan from Rosenborg, according to transfer expert Ole Saga.
The Premier League team has been talking to both the player’s agents and Rosenborg to try to get him before other teams like Manchester City, Girona, and Arsenal can.
Villa shared their long-term plan with Nypan a few weeks ago, showing how he can grow and improve under their coach, Unai Emery.
Talks are moving forward with both the player and the club, and Villa is eager to be the first to sign this talented player.
Nypan is often compared to Martin Ødegaard because of his skill and vision on the field. He has already played over 50 games for Rosenborg and has represented Norway in youth international teams.
His great performances have caught the attention of many teams in Europe, including Girona and Arsenal.
Although there is no final deal yet, Villa’s active efforts have made them the favorites to sign him.
