People believe it takes luck to become viral. Before my “luck” altered in the most unexpected way, I also thought so. Joy is my name. I graduated from journalism at the age of 25, and like many of my classmates, I struggled to find a good career before turning to content production. During the shutdown, TikTok was my first platform. I would record quick films, sketches, dances, and inspirational songs, but none of them really caught on.
Some might receive 100 views; if I were lucky, I would receive 500. I experimented with mastering video editing, following trends, enhancing my lighting, and even paying influencers to repost, but to no avail. I had the originality and the material, yet my page seemed to be invisible. Then I began to notice odd things.
