‘Act of desperation,’ Kalonzo reacts to Raila Odinga’s health

The Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) has responded to the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) after hearing that Raila Odinga is sick.

The incident happened not long after ODM criticised Kalonzo Musyoka, the head of the Wiper party, and other key opposition leaders for circulating suspicions about Odinga’s health.

Wiper quickly responded by saying that Kalonzo has no negative feelings against his long-time political comrade and that the accusations he is spreading about him are false.

Wiper also said that ODM’s approach is “an act of desperation” to distract the country from the problems the party is having inside the broad-based government pact it reached with the government.

Wiper stated in a statement, “ODM’s empty moralising and blame games can’t hide the fact that they have betrayed the Kenyan people.”

“The fact that they are working with President Ruto’s government, which is responsible for slaughter, economic devastation, and repression, shows that they are also accountable for the country’s suffering.

The most recent statement from ODM has nothing to do with Raila’s health. It’s about their shame, their dread, and their urgent need to explain a political marriage that smells like tyranny.

Wiper also said that Kalonzo was not to blame for Odinga’s defeat in the African Union Commission chairman race.

The party instead said that Odinga lost because of “diplomatic blunders” made by the government, which they say are similar to the political mistakes the current government is dealing with.

Wiper, on the other hand, said that it would not let Kalonzo become involved in ODM’s “self-inflicted political decay”.

ODM stated that Odinga had gone out of the country for personal reasons and that his health was not in danger, despite allegations that he was having serious health problems.
