Ess Gathoni leaks her explicit video as the Nairobi video vixen and TikTok sensation sent the internet into meltdown after deliberately posting a steamy bedroom clip showing her topless in nothing but a G-string moments before her boyfriend walked in.

The 23-year-old curvaceous dancer, known as Esther Gathoni and with a massive TikTok following, dropped a 28-second video on her close-friends Instagram story Sunday night.

She mouths silently to a trending bedroom audio before the door creaks open and her boyfriend – face blurred – walks in, freezes, then lunges toward the lens laughing, “Babe, you’re wild!”

The video cuts to black, but not before Ess winks and whispers, “He loves the chaos.”

She then teased an upcoming OnlyFans drop “for the real supporters who don’t judge.” The self-leak strategy is pure Ess Gathoni playbook. From viral dance challenges in tiny bikinis to club hosting gigs in Westlands, she has built a brand on owning her sexuality unapologetically.

Last year she made headlines for turning down a KSh 3 million brand deal because the company asked her to “tone down the body”.

“I’m not your church girl,” she clapped back then, and Sunday’s move feels like the ultimate flex. Reactions poured in thick and fast. Fellow creators like Azziad Nasenya posted laughing emojis with “Ess is untouchable”, while conservative corners called for platform bans.

Her boyfriend, a low-key Nairobi events organiser, went live briefly to back her up: “That’s my baby. She does what she wants, and I love every second of it.”

Leaking explicit content is today’s move to acquire more followers on TikTok and Instagram. Ess had gained 87,000 new followers across platforms and was already teasing paid exclusive content.

In a country where female creators often face slut-shaming for far less, Ess Gathoni leaking her own explicit video has flipped the script: a woman in total control of her image, her narrative, and her coins.

Love her or loathe her, one thing is clear: Ess just reminded fans that when it comes to her body and brand, she holds the remote, and she’s not afraid to press play.
