The Nairobi race is heating up as the incumbent governor Evans Kidero and Jubilee Mike Sonko neck to neck. Mike Sonko is leading with over three hundred thousand votes against Evans Kidero.

The Senate seat is also going to be in the Jubilee party as the Johnstone Sakaja leads the race.   The NASA team is losing out in the Nairobi races as only five MPs have won the seat in the city.

Evans Kidero garnered 654 392 votes (42,94%) and Mike Sonko pocketed 814 345 votes (53,41%). Johnstone Sakaja garnered 790 738 votes (51,10%) while Edwin Sifuna(ODM) pocketed 660 113 votes (42,61%).

Dr. Evans Kidero has so far refuted the results claiming the election process was shambolic. Kidero has not accepted the results and vowed to take action against the voter malpractices.
